Ronald Coase

Biography

Ronald Coase was born on 29 December 1910 in London. Graduated from the London school of Economics in 1932. Academic years, he won the Ernest Cassel scholarship. Ronald Coase began his professional career with an article entitled "the Nature of the firm".Ronald Coase spent much of his extensive life span teaching at the University of Chicago Law School. He is particularly known for two influential essays he wrote: the 1937 article titled, "The Nature of the Firm," and the 1960 article titled, "The Problem of Social Cost." In "The Nature of the Firm,". The Work was published in the journal "Economics" in 1937. In the Nature of the firm, he touched on the problem of economic organization. Even after 50 years, this work attracts attention. The Level of its citation is continuously growing to this day. Ronald Coase won the Nobel prize in Economics in 1991. Ronald Coase wrote several books: "Essays on economic science", "Firm, market and law". In "The Problem of Social Cost," Coase argued that property rights should be distributed in such a way so as to encourage the owner of the property to take economically efficient actions. Ronald Coase lived for 103 years and died on September 2, 2013, in Chicago.
